Standard & Poor’s/Case-Shiller home price index released Tuesday shows home prices across the 20 metros surveyed dipped 0.1 percent in January, but remained 13.2 percent higher than a year earlier. Portland home prices dipped a fraction too, but experts suggest this was due to seasonal swings.
